City of Glasgow Searches for New Chief of Police and Public Works Director

The City of Glasgow has received 14 applications for the position of Chief of Police according to city officials. The Glasgow City Council is currently in the process of scoring all applications and will go into executive session on Monday to discuss the potential candidates. The person selected will replace Chief Robert Weber who intends to retire in 2026.

The city is also searching for a Public Works Director to replace Paul Skubinna who recently resigned. The city is currently advertising the position and hopes to have a replacement for Skubinna hired within the next couple of months. 

The Glasgow City Council will meet for a regular meeting this coming Monday at 5pm in the Council Chambers of the Glasgow Civic Center.
