College Track And Field

Area next-level athletes competed at their respective indoor track and field championships over the past two weeks.

At the GNAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, February 16-17, Mattea McColly (MSU-Billings) finished 10th in the weight throw, throwing 13.66m (44' 9.75").

At the Frontier Conference Championships this weekend, Dickinson State's Kyler Holinde was 5th in the 800m in a personal best of 1:56.74. He also ran a leg on the men's 4x400m relay team that finished third.

Kheyerah Bilger finished 15th in the women's mile, in 6:43.46. Both the Blue Hawk men and women won the meet.

Wolf Point's Sierra Summers, running for MSU-Northern, finished 7th in the women's 5000m in 18:58.53.
