Dr. Lawrence Robert Palazzo

Dr. Lawrence Robert Palazzo, 92, of Glasgow, Montana passed away peacefully at FMDH, on December 17, 2025.

Doc, as he was known to all, was born in Bronx, New York to Mary and Sal Palazzo where he was raised with his sister. He attended elementary public school and went on to be accepted into The Bronx High School of Science where he graduated. He attended NYU and Medical School in Bologna, Italy.

He met Rosalie after high school and immediately fell in love! They were married on June 26, 1954, and had four children over the next 10 years. They settled in Yonkers, New York until the move to Glasgow, Montana in 1981.

Doc’s specialty was OB/GYN and over his career he delivered about 3,000 babies. He was always honest and frank when addressing others and the confidence and grace he exuded drew people to him.

Doc had a full-time practice and was the Director of FMDH, a member of The Knights of Columbus, Lifetime Member of the American Medical Association, President of the Montana Medical Association, to mention a few.

Survivors include four children, five grandchildren and seven greats with one on the way. He is joined in heaven by his wife Rosalie, his father Sal, his mother Mary, his sister Katherine and his son-in-law Wade.

He will be forever in our hearts!

Rosary will be Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church at 6:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, followed by burial at Highland Cemetery in Glasgow. Following burial, there is a reception at the Parish Center beginning at 12:00p.m.
